dmg media is the consumer media company of DMGT plc. It is a global multi-media company providing the world with the latest news and information in national newspapers, websites, mobile and tablet applications. It’s home to some of the UK’s most popular brands, such as Daily Mail, MailOnline and Metro.

The Project

dmg media were chosen to run the annual finance conference, which plays host to senior global finance executives from across the wider DMGT group. This conference had previously comprised a mix of digital and print assets, but there was a desire to make this conference entirely digital-based.

What we Did

The theme was ‘high performing teams’, so we were tasked with ensuring this fed through the entire project and communications, from thought-provoking videos to an animated video. This meant attendees arrived at the conference with their minds already focused on the theme.

There was a relatively tight lead time and various new initiatives to showcase, so we worked with the client to phase the communications and build up to the event. We also provided support at the event and assisted with post-event follow-up communications.

The Outcome

Within a short timescale, we helped drive the communications forward from initial design theme through to a comprehensive website that provided all necessary resource and information prior, during and after the conference. This included bespoke functionality that interacted with various email communications.

We helped the client meet its objective to deliver the conference using only digital channels in a way that reflected the theme of ‘high-performance’.

Throughout Chrissie and her team executed every process change, enhancement or concept with such speed and professionalism that delivering a professional end product became so much easier. When challenged with any number of innovative curve balls we could conceive it was second nature that Eximia would find a way to deliver. An absolute pleasure to have worked with Eximia and Chrissie on this project and they will be my first choice and recommendation in this space going forward.
